Time for warm socks and hot chocolate!

The temperature has dropped which means two things at Forest School: two pairs of socks on your feet before wellies go on and hot chocolate to warm us up when we are outside!
If your child is finding it cold, please send in a change of clothing that they can wear outside for example: warm jogging trousers, a hoodie, hat, gloves. Layers work best at keeping the cold away.

Here are some photos from P2/3 and P3’ sessions. This week was tool week and each class learned how to stay safe while using another woodland tools. Last week they all tried a hand drill.
This week  P2/3 tried their hand at using loppers. Most of P3 had a turn of using a bow saw to make a tree cookie this week and I hope that the groups who have yet to have a go get a shot next week.

Both classes are really doing well at tidying the resources away now.
